Building Bridges is a film that builds bridges over economical, racial, and denominational division. Unity is celebrating diversity (our differences). It is not coming together because we agree. Christians come together because we a have a covenant relationship of brotherhood under our Savior, Jesus Christ. Just like in your family you love each other because you are blood. Bonds of mercy superceed bonds of judgement. Building Bridges shows the preservation of unity of the Spirit in the bonds of peace and the joy of loving your brother. Building Bridges Ministries will take this film into the churches and communities to get mentors for the at risk youth in our nation.
God has brought several former regenerated gang members to testify for the validity of the film and to give back to the community. Glory to God! He is the Amazing One!
Building Bridges Synopsis:
A diverse suburban group of young people render their services to a local community center to fulfill their graduation requirements begrudgingly for high school. Each student finds themselves selfishly judging each other based upon their standards for living. The young people learn life changing lessons as they learn to work together. In an atmosphere of love, communication, openness and acceptance, their self sacrificing community service leader helps them see the barriers of their hearts. Through the challenges of each student’s lives circumstances, each student starts giving of themselves. When John, the community service leader, falls into a trap, the group unites, and they follow the one they rejected.

Romans 15:5-7 “May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other-each with the attitude of Christ Jesus toward the other. Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. So accept each other just as Christ has accepted you; then God will be glorified”
Colossians 3:12-15 “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”
